Troubleshooting broadcasts

Cannot connect

First, check if you are in the timeframe when connection is possible (connection is possible from 30 minutes before the start of the event).

Confirm there are no errors in the RTMP URL and Stream Key, and re-enter them using copy and paste.

If you still can't connect, it might be blocked by a firewall. In that case, it's recommended to change or review your current internet environment.

Broadcast cuts off

This may be due to a temporary disconnection in the on-site line, excessive output, or insufficient internet speed.

Restart your PC and broadcasting software (such as OBS).

If the problem persists, adjust settings like video bitrate and frame rate, then restart and begin broadcasting again.

Video/Audio is Interrupted

  1. High CPU usage
Potential causes include overheating, insufficient memory, or lack of storage, which may hinder the performance of broadcasting software/computer. Consider changing the broadcasting PC, restarting, or freeing up storage.
  2. Excessive output settings in broadcasting software
If the output values (frame rate, bitrate) are too high compared to your PC’s processing capacity (memory) and internet speed, it might not keep up. Consider lowering either the frame rate or bitrate, or both.
  3. Other software running simultaneously
Cloud sync software, antivirus software, chat software, video conferencing software, etc., might affect your PC’s CPU, GPU, soundboard, memory, storage, and communication. If so, close all software other than OBS.
  4. Poor connection, recording equipment or cables
If restarting or changing cables for audio recording equipment or cables does not improve the situation, use the sync adjustment feature in the broadcasting software to correct audio lag.

Troubleshooting settings

Cannot upload VOD

① Check internet connection
Even if Wi-Fi appears connected on your PC, consider restarting or changing your location if you are:
  • Using an old Wi-Fi router.
  • Connecting multiple devices simultaneously to Wi-Fi.
  • Near objects that obstruct signals or near devices like microwaves that emit electromagnetic waves.

Please note that public Wi-Fi may automatically disconnect or have poor connection.

② Check file size

The video file you're trying to upload might be too heavy. Please prepare it according to our recommended values.

Recommended values

  • Video: 5000Kbps
  • Audio: 192Kbps
  • Frame rate: 30

While it depends on your internet upload speed, we recommend about 10GB, but larger files will take more time.

③ Check file format

Ensure the video file you are trying to upload is in a supported file format (mp4/mov).

④ Clear browser cache and cookies

There are instances when you might not be able to upload a file because of the browser's cache or cookies. Clear them and attempt to upload again.
