Duplicating events within Zaiko Creator Services is a powerful feature designed to streamline the event creation process, especially for users who host regular events. This guide will walk you through the steps to duplicate an existing event, ensuring you can quickly and efficiently set up new events.

Understanding the Duplication Process

Zaiko Creator Services allows you to duplicate both online and offline events. When duplicating an event, most of the original event's details are copied over, including basic information, media, and selected tickets. However, certain elements such as event timing and specific ticket settings are not copied and need to be set up anew.

What is Copied

When duplicating an event, the following information is carried over:

  • Basic Information: Event title, flyer image, artists & hosts, banner image, gallery, embedded media.
  • Tickets: Selected tickets, including ticket type, price, fee type, visibility, check-in method, and available quantity.

What is Not Copied

The following details are not copied and need to be set up for the new event:

  • Event Timing: Open time, start date & time, end date & time.
  • Ticket Settings: Stream settings, purchasers info, sales period.

Accessing the Event Duplication Tool

  1. Log In to Your Account: Start by logging in to your Zaiko Creator Services account.
  2. Navigate to Events: On the left-hand menu, click on Events.
  3. Select an Event to Duplicate:
    • Event List Page: Click the Duplicate Event button and select the event you would like to copyDupeList

    • Event Overview Page: Open the event overview and click the Duplicate Event button.DupePage

Duplicating an Event

  1. Modify Event Details:
    • Event Title: The title will be loaded by default with the same name as the existing event. You can modify this title.
    • Event Flyer: The flyer image from the existing event will be loaded by default. You can change this if needed.
    • Event Timing: Adjust the open time, start date & time, and end date & time for the new event.
  2. Select Tickets to Copy:
    • A list of tickets associated with the original event will be displayed with checkboxes. Select the tickets you wish to copy.
    • Adjust the time, date & price.
    • You can also select which ticket options / add-ons you would like to copy, including reservation numbers & add-ons like HD Audio and Archive.
  3. Review and Save:
    • Review all details and selected tickets.
    • Click Save & Create Draft to create the new event in draft mode.
